Hi Cara,
as you will know, I interview successful and motivated role models like yourself, to help me get the message out that reading is important. Why do you feel it is important that people should read more? Well firstly, thank you for your kind words! I do believe reading is very important because it keeps your mind active and allows one to have an imagination and envisage the story, rather than have the picture painted for them. I bet you have been used to reading a lot through your career? I read music and TV/film scripts of course, which is greatly a part of my career! Also, I do believe that reading books helps to "clear" the mind in a way, like a meditation. This allows me to de-stress and focus my energy where it should be. What is your favourite book and why? My favorite book is definitely "The Secret Garden". It takes me to my own "secret place" where I can be free and in a magical world. Are you reading anything at the moment? YES! I'm reading a very intriguing book entitled "GhostGirl". It's about a girl learning about life, after death. What advice can you offer to anyone that is wanting to do what you have done to get where you are? The best advice I can give is, NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!!! How did you get your first break? The entertainment industry runs on a consistency from the entertainer and a consistency of building one's skill set, so it was not one specific "break" I had. It was an accumulation of constant hard work and determination to build a resume, and I'm still going strong today working on bigger and better things! Any regrets along the way? NO WAY! What do the next 12 months hold for you? I will be shooting the new sitcom series "Roommates" where I have been cast as the lead, "Rue". Comedy has always been a passion of mine, as I used to perform at "The Comedy Store" on Sunset blvd in Hollywood. "Roommates" is absolutely hilarious with a talented cast and I am truly honored to be a part of it. I will also be working on new music down in Austin, Texas, which is a TOP SECRET project, so I cannot say much about it at this time, aside from the fact that this is my BEST work, thus far. There will be many surprises and announcements next year for my fans, which include a much bigger musical release than ever before. So you Carl, are one of the first to hear about this absolutely top secret project… so shhhh. Your life so far has been a journey, so, what motivates you, Cara Quici to be such a dedicated and driven singer/performer/model? My fans, the #carers, along with my ART and love of performance, motivate me every day of my life. Shout out to the #carers… I love you! Of all the careers you have, which has been your favorite? I'm an artist, an entertainer and a performer first, so all the different aspects and outlets of art and entertainment intertwine together to mold one career. However, my love of entertaining and performing stems from my love and passion for MUSIC. Last question, "if you could be an animal, what would it be and why?"
