Interview by Carl Marsh - April 2015 |
You were a fan favourite on The X-Factor who sadly missed out on the live finals, would you be tempted to audition again?
Maybe, who knows!? What have you been up to since The X-Factor? I've been working on my song writing, so as to get more original material. I have also been majorly busy with festivals, gigs, events, personal appearances, modelling, acting, and also numerous charity gigs. I have lots of new exciting projects coming up also. You are from Essex, so tell me, as you having firsthand knowledge, what makes it special to you? It's very special to me as it’s my home town, and it's always buzzing. It's packed with lots of interesting people. Who musically inspires you? Michael Jackson. Aretha Franklyn. Amy Winehouse. Beyoncé. Can we expect a lot from you in the next 12 months? You can expect a hell of a lot. Lots of exciting stuff coming up. Watch this space! As you come across as a very happy person, you obviously must be happy in general but...what annoys you the most? Not a lot annoys me as I am always quite happy and try to stay positive, but I don't like bad manners. You alarm clock goes off in the morning, what gets you out of bed, what inspires you to start the day with a bang? A nice cup of tea, and a cuddle with my dog is the first thing. Then it’s onto the music, which is my passion. Are you much of a book reader? No, I'm not a book reader because I simply don't have the time as I'm so busy. But for others though, why should (young) people read more? It depends what career they want to take. If you could offer any advice to anyone considering auditioning for The X-Factor this year, what would you say? Be yourself. Be strong. Be unique. And the last question, if you were an animal, what would it be, and why? I would be a tiger because they look cute and cuddly, but they have a big roar, and I like to be heard! @LydiaLucy |
